The idle was OK at first but the rpm drop occurred shortly thereafter. The cause of the rpm drop is fuel vaporization in the fuel rails due to high under-hood temperatures.
When I accelerate my car(when driving at certain speed say 20km/h it accelerates lets say up to 60km/h but when I take my foot off from acceleration I did a engine tuneup recently and cleaned up throttle body for carbon residue. After calibrating throttle body sudden rpm drops has not been...The most important single instrument on the boat when considering performance drop-off is the engine tachometer. The great thing about jet boats is that the engine RPM's should remain the same throughout the life of the boat, regardless of age, loading, water conditions, towing, whatever.
